Cookie Policy
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website can store in your browser to remember something between visits, or during one. Some are essential to how a site functions, others exist for analytics or advertising. We break down what we actually use below, not a generic list of what a typical website might use.
You can change your cookie choice at any time. This reopens the same preference panel from your first visit.
How We Use Cookies
| Category | Status | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Always on | Remembers your cookie preference itself, so you're not asked again every visit. Nothing else runs under this category today. |
| Analytics | Off by default, currently unused site-wide | Reserved for future use to understand site traffic. Nothing runs under this category until we enable it and update this policy. |
| Marketing | Off by default, currently unused site-wide | Reserved for future advertising or retargeting use. Nothing runs under this category today. |
In plain terms: as of the effective date above, the only thing this site actually stores in your browser is your own cookie preference choice.
A Third-Party Request That Isn't a Cookie, But Is Still Worth Knowing About
This site loads typefaces directly from Google Fonts' servers. That's a font-delivery request, not a cookie, but it does mean your browser contacts Google directly and can transmit your IP address as part of that request. We're evaluating self-hosting our fonts to remove this third-party call entirely; until then, we're disclosing it here rather than leaving it out because it's not technically a "cookie."
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we detect it automatically and treat it as your opt-out of non-essential cookies, without requiring you to open the preference panel yourself.
Browser-Level Controls
Beyond the preference panel on this site, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies at the browser level. Note that blocking all cookies browser-wide, including necessary ones, may cause this and other sites to behave unexpectedly, since your preference choice itself relies on being remembered.
Changes to This Policy
If we start using analytics or marketing cookies, we'll update this page and the categories above before anything new runs, not after.
